Brain Wash Commercial
The sketch phase is crucial to any animation project. Here are some of my coloured storyboards with the specific actions marked for easier animation. This project is a part of Uncandy Cosmetics and meant to be a commercial for one of its products. Everything was made in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe after-effects.
The colour guidelines are set to colours that only appear in the products to support cohesiveness. The main challenge is to show realistic movements in this 2D space. Slight movements and smoothness of animation create a polished final product.
Final product includes a full-length commercial showing the characters on the product interacting, leading to a product reveal at the end. To accompany that, an Instagram layout, along with a story post is made to further promote this product.
